NSE Winter Cup Featuring Fortnite

NSE Winter Cup is an Esports tournament series hosted by National Student Esports, an university Esports tournament organiser. The Fortnite winter cup featured some of the UK’s best Fortnite players competing for their universities.

The immediate client for the event was epicLAN services, with National Student Esports (NSE) as the end client.

As the In Game Director for the tournament, Aaron’s responsibilities comprise of:

• Training aspiring Esports broadcast crew on in-game observing Fortnite in POV & Drone roles

• Leading a 4 person observer team, providing constructive feedback where required

• Understanding the competitors’ capabilities & progression throughout the tournament for building engaging storylines

• Performing basic vision mixing with vMix
