Red Bull Contested

Red Bull Contested is the UK’s biggest in-person competitive Fortnite tournament, featuring 100 of the world’s best players competing for a share of £100,000. The tournament welcomed an in-person audience as well as broadcast online.

Hang Loose Media is the direct client, with Red Bull as the end client.

As a Drone Observer for the tournament, Aaron’s responsibilities comprise of:

• Extensive practice with the entire observer team, utilising replay files & constructive VOD reviews

• Following the storyline portrayed by the gameplay director, and sharing critical game information

• Communicating with sub-team POV Observers during broadcast, under tight turnarounds

• Responding rapidly to unforeseen game situations such as player eliminations, to elevate end product

• Creating live cinematography-style shots with the in-game drone controls, elevating end product
