Project Summary
The Naraka Bladpoint University Invitational was a multi-day Esports tournament, featuring top players from UK universities, competing for a £5000 prize pool. The qualifiers were broadcast online, and the finals broadcast at HOST Salford in Manchester, UK.
Aaron was involved as an observer for the qualifier stages, and in-game director at the finals.
The immediate client for the event was epicLAN services, with National Student Esports (NSE) as the end client.

Project Involvement
As an Observer & In Game Director for the tournament, Aaron’s responsibilities comprise of:
Leading a 4 person observer team, providing constructive feedback where required
Familiarising with the game’s fundamentals, features & competitive mechanics
Using in-game spectator tools to capture action in style, and following storylines
Understanding the competitors’ capabilities & progression throughout the tournament for building engaging storylines
Performing basic vision mixing with vMix
